    About the Job:
    As a Sales Representative, your main objective is to assess, qualify and process potential borrowers continually maintained in client's proprietary database of leads (no cold calling). You will speak with Illinois investors over the phone and in person, discuss loan programs, and determine whether client's model fits their project and qualifications. Ideally, by the end of the conversation, the qualified investors will fill out an application to begin the origination process.

College degree is preferred. Event marketing or insurance industry experience is a big plus. Travel will be required.

    Some of the key responsibilities will include:

    • maintaining constant market contact with new prospects via phone, primarily industrial loss adjusters
    • marketing various events, such as industry-based, continuing education courses, webinars, and seminars
    • diligent and scheduled follow-up with participants in company-sponsored events
    • relationship-building with key industry professionals as key allies
    The qualified candidate will be a self-starter who has the ability to multi-task with excellent time management skills. This position requires exceptional verbal and written communication/presentation, interpersonal, and organizational skills. The candidate must also possess strong PC skills with demonstrated knowledge of Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Salesforce. The candidate must maintain confidentiality of all information.

    This is a full-time, salaried plus bonus position. Client offers a competitive salary in the $60k range that would be commensurate with experience, especially industrial insurance and related services. The benefit package includes Medical, Dental, a 401k Retirement Savings Plan, and Paid Vacation.
