Entry-level Inside Sales Representative

Machinery reseller/rebuilder that sells industrial equipment, parts and maintenance services for a global market.

Our client is a 25 year old, privately owned firm that is seeking to add two Inside Sales Representatives for their growing line of business. North and South America are among our client’s greatest territories.

As an Inside Sales Rep, your goal is to secure new business with both new and existing customers through daily contact (inbound and outbound calls) with a primary focus on selling new and replacement parts. This opens opportunity for further sales in maintenance contracts and installations, as well as major refurbished projects valued at a minimum of $100k.

  • 60% parts – Cultivate relationships through parts sales (inbound & outbound)
  • 30% service – Up-sell maintenance services/installation of parts
  • 10% large project – refurb/rebuild $100k +

In time, this position may include some limited travel for face-to-face meetings with major customers to secure increased levels of business.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Confident, outgoing, and professional communication skills
  • Ability to think on your feet and ENGAGE with domestic and international prospects over the telephone
  • Goal oriented, desire to succeed
  • Experience with CRM; Salesforce a plus
  • Eager for growth and personal development
  • Inside selling experience is required, preferably B2B sales development, though industrial supply/business retail or related experience is also applicable

This is a contract-to-hire position. If you are confident in your value and that you can prove your value and potential to our client during a 90-day time frame, this may be a rewarding opportunity. Please consider the following:

  • 90 day contract phase
  • Once hired, a base salary $40 to $60k (DOE) + commissions = $70 to $100k expected
